Beach Vault and Street Vault

BBC Breakfast Sports Reporter Mike Bushell visited Weymouth Beach Vault.
The first ever Pole Vaulting sessions on Dorset beaches took place in the summer of 2007, with all shapes and sizes learning this exciting athletics event. From 6 year olds to 70 year olds, all those who took part enjoyed the experience.

No age restrictions. If you are able to jump on to
the inflatable Pole Vault bed... you can learn
how to Pole Vault!
All equipment is provided and sessions are run by UK Athletics Level 2 and 3 coaches.
Sessions run from 10am to 4pm, with demonstrations from local athletes.
Cost £3 (40 mins coaching).
